FAQs

How do I Upload my project?

Once you are booked you will be prompted to upload your project. It Is recommended to compress your project files into a Zip file so they can be extracted once received.

What is a reference track?

This is usually your rough mix of the song exported from your DAW.

I booked an appointment but I need to cancel?

We do not recommend booking an appointment unless you are ready to start your project. However, we will always work with you to sort out any confusion or conflicts.

What are STEMS? And what is the difference between Two-Track mixing vs Full Stem mixing?

Stems are the individual tracks recorded in your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). These tracks are exported individually called STEMS.

The difference between Two-Track Mixing and Full Stem mixing are:

  1. Two-track mixing contains the stereo track of the music composition (instrumental) with all vocal and FX tracks bounced individually.

  2. Full Stem mixing: Contains all the individual tracks of instruments, vocals, and effects (FX) bounced from the DAW. This allows more control to achieve a more balanced mix.

When you book Two-Track mixing you should upload 1 instrumental or beat along with all other vocal and FX tracks

I booked my appointment but when do I get my mix or master?

Once services are booked, allow 24-48hrs for the engineer to evaluate your project and set the expected date for completion.
